With its large 5.94µm pixels and a full-frame Sony IMX410 sensor, the OGMA AP24CC color camera is perfect for long focal-length telescopes because it provides adequate sampling to produce sharp images.
Even with shorter focal lengths, this camera can substantially improve your astrophotography experience if your sky often has less than ideal seeing conditions.
Recommended Option
You can order the AP24CC camera with either:
Anti-reflective Window Coating: Includes a filter drawer and a 2-inch UV/IR filter.
UV/IR Window Coating: Does not include the filter drawer and the 2-inch UV/IR filter.
We recommend the Anti-reflective Coating option for more flexibility with filters, such as using a dual narrow-band filter in light-polluted areas. This ensures only one filter affects your light path.
The UV/IR Coating option provides more space between the camera and the telescope and avoids potential shading at the corners of a full-frame sensor.

Zero Amp Glow
The first image shows the typical star-shaped amp glow of older sensors. The second image, a 30-second dark frame at gain 100 taken with NINA after cooling the sensor to 0°C, demonstrates the IMX410 sensor's lack of amp glow.
