OGMA AP24CC Full-Frame Color IMX410 Cooled Digital Still Image Astronomy Camera with Bonus Kit
With its large 5.94µm pixels and a full-frame Sony IMX410 sensor, the OGMA AP24CC color camera is perfect for long focal-length telescopes because it provides adequate sampling to produce sharp images.
Even with shorter focal lengths, this camera can substantially improve your astrophotography experience if your sky often has less than ideal seeing conditions.
Recommended Option
You can order the AP24CC camera with either an Anti-reflective or UV/IR window coating.
We recommend the Anti-reflective coating for greater flexibility, especially if you plan to use filters like dual narrow-band filters in light-polluted areas. This way, only one filter affects your light path.
The UV/IR coating option is more convenient if you want to avoid using an additional filter or if you have optics with minimal back focus distance.
Highlights
This camera is designed to deliver exceptional performance, providing high-resolution images with minimal noise, even under less-than-ideal conditions. The large frame and large pixel size will pair well with telescopes of large focal lengths under average seeing or with telescopes of shorter focal lengths under less-than-average seeing.
